Electric Wire Embedder

Wiring a frame is only half the job — the wire also has to sink into the beeswax foundation so it doesn't just sit on the surface. This embedder does that with heat: touch the two metal points to opposite ends of the wire, and a controlled electrical charge warms it just enough to melt down into the wax in a few seconds.

How It Works

Once the wire is run through the frame, touch the embedder's two metal points to opposite ends of the wire. As soon as both ends make contact, the wire heats and sinks into the wax on its own. This keeps the foundation firmly anchored to the wire once it's installed in the hive.
