This 5-frame deep Langstroth hive is made from solid cypress wood—known for its natural durability and resistance to rot. The box serves as the foundation for a developing colony or as a temporary home for captured swarms.

Each kit includes:

• 1-5 Frame Cypress Deep box
• 5 Deep Frames
• 5 Deep sheets of double wax foundation 

You can order this kit unassembled, assembled, or assembled and painted. When choosing the assembled option, your equipment is built using Titebond wood glue and staples, ensuring it will last for years without loosening. The painted option includes a coat of primer and a layer of UV-resistant white paint on the exterior for added protection.
