Each barn holds a small amount of vegetable oil or diatomaceous earth; beetles crawl in to hide and don't crawl back out.

How to Use It

Fill the barn about halfway with vegetable oil or diatomaceous earth, then set it on top of the frames under the inner cover. Beetles running from bees dive in to hide and get trapped in the oil or die from the diatomaceous earth. Check and refill every few weeks during beetle season.
